A new look at old art. A buddy of mine wanted an update for a synth album he’s working on.

He wanted me to effectively take the old piece and add another background but looking at old art work of mine is less fun than creating something new.
And here’s a look at the progress in Photoshop.
And for the colour scheme I went with the following reference.
And the background was totally based on the Pantheon in Rome where my wife and I went a while back.

I actually wanted to keep it black and white like a Visoth Kakvei image I was inspired by but it wasn’t working. It would have been a reversed light scheme (as the ascending Renaissance paintings I was also riffing off called for) but the foreground elements were getting hidden. Had to add colour and therefor scope… BAH.. but it was worth it.
Just put together some clips of animations I did for The Fall Part 2: Unbound. It was rad working with John Warner at Over The Moon Games and the rest of the awesome dev team. Also, thanks Cam Jarvis for for a lot of great VFX and music!
